Troll Statue – Spring Grove, MN

Troll Statue is located in the town square of Spring Grove, Minnesota across from the park in front of the old creamery building on 123 Maple Drive.

Supported by a concrete slab that rests between its legs, the standing troll dressed in bib overalls holds its right arm in a raised position to wave hello to the locals of this predominantly Norwegian community.  Its left arm holds a long, black metal spear.

Draped across the troll’s bulging stomach is a banner that reads: “Belly by Budweiser.”

Nearby, a 12-foot bronze statue of a viking warrior known as “Quest” protects the citizenry.
